The contestants at the Cincy Typing Challenge didn’t have 8 hours to practice using the new keyboard, but still managed to submit respectable times and keystroke counts. According to the product website, typists can transfer over to this layout with about 8 hours of training, and still get back up to nearly 100% of their normal QWERTY typing speed.
